Vice President, Indirect Sales, APJ - Hewlett Packard Enterprise
Neeraj is Vice President, Indirect Sales for the Hewlett Packard Enterprise in the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region. In this role, Neeraj is responsible for overall performance, market share, and capacity achievement across the EG portfolio through channel, alliance partners and OEM customers. In addition, he is also responsible for driving SMB business across the region. Working across HP’s network of channel partners, distributors, and resellers, his team is focused on providing both fulfillment and partner led sales for EG, as well as developing partner capability in selling and growing EG’s share of business with partners in the APJ region.
Prior to this role, Neeraj led HP’s Imaging and Printing (IPG) business in India where he was accountable for IPG’s overall business in India including all elements of the balanced scorecard. In addition to driving the core business, Neeraj was responsible for growth initiatives such as increasing sales coverage, driving increased share of wallet in the enterprise printing market, scaling up retail publishing and building a scaled and profitable graphics solutions business.
Prior to joining HP, Neeraj held senior leadership roles in IBM; most recently as Director, Integrated Technology Services for Sales, Presales and Delivery - India South Asia. In this role, he was responsible for driving long term and short term contracts and profitable revenue including executing them through a skilled delivery organization of project managers and field technical support teams. Services lines that worked for him included Networking design, datacenters, infrastructure, disasters recovery and managed workplace services. Neeraj has also worked in an Asia Pacific role for IBM as the Director for Infrastructure Management Services responsible for server, storage, datacenter and network business.
Prior to IBM, Neeraj was Managing Director & CEO - Lenovo India/South Asia. In this position he was responsible for revenue, margin, expense, talent management, profit, and customer satisfaction. He successfully led to create a recognizable & sought after brand in India amid concerns of Lenovo acceptance in country. Ventured into setting up a completely a new consumer business and set up a territory wise distribution model in the country to establish Lenovo in the top 3 players in the Indian market in a short span.
A seasoned professional, Neeraj has over 20 years of experience in handling direct and channel sales, category management, product management, general management in both country and region levels.
