Executive Director and SMB Leader, Asia Pacific - Lenovo
Takeshi Okuma leads Lenovo’s fast-growing SMB business across the diverse markets of Asia Pacific, including product management, sales operations and channel marketing. Prior to this role, he led Strategy and Planning for the company in the region for four years, where he drove strategy development, market intelligence, M&A and Post-Merger-Management. In 2013, Takeshi also served as Lenovo Japan’s Chief Operating Officer to manage overall operations across all audience segments.
Prior to Lenovo, as Associate Principal of McKinsey & Company, Takeshi led a number of consulting projects with clients in various industries with a focus on the TMT (Technology, Media and Telecom) sector. Throughout his consulting work, he focused on business strategy, product development, operational efficiency improvement and M&A.
Takeshi graduated from Waseda University with a Masters degree in Computer Science. He is based in Hong Kong.
