Commercial Marketing Director, Asia Pacific - Lenovo
Charis Jamieson is the newly appointed Commercial Marketing Director at Lenovo for Asia Pacific where she covers Partner and End User marketing in Global, Relationship and SMB segments. Charis recognises that digital disruption is happening in the market with over 21% year-on year growth in Asia Pacific of active social mobile users. She is passionate to progress Lenovo’s journey of digital first in the Commercial space.
Prior to this role, Charis lead Asia Pacific Marketing Operations and Alliances and held the Chief of Staff position to the Asia Pacific Chief Marketing Officer where she introduced and implemented marketing processes to optimise the integration of Lenovo Asia Pacific Mature and Emerging market merge in 2015. She is no stranger to the Commercial business having previously worked in Lenovo EMEA developing the Lenovo Partner Network in 2010. She also has a long heritage with the Think business having worked as a Product Engineer on the ThinkPad range at IBM also in EMEA.
Charis holds a BEng Honours Degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering and hails from Scotland, the country she loves passionately. She now lives with her husband in Sydney and is enjoying the slightly better climate!
