Executive Director Global Working Capital Strategy and Programs - Dell EMC
David Rodriguez is Executive Director of Global Working Capital Strategy & Programs for Dell. He drives Dell’s strategy to help grow our partners’ businesses by providing partners with liquidity and terms so they can win more business with end users. Since taking over this role in 2014, David and his team have grown the Working Capital program by over 100 percent.
David is responsible for working with third party financial vendors to fund working capital and provide larger credit capacity and longer payment terms to Dell channel partners. This enables partners to better manage their cash flow and increase profitability while growing their business with Dell.
Previously, David held a variety of progressive roles at Dell. He served as Regional Sales Director in North America for Dell’s mid-market channel partners and was responsible for providing end-to-end IT and enterprise solutions to new and existing customers.
He also served as Global Finance Director for Dell Global Commercial Channels as well as Director of Dell Global Finance Solutions in APJ leading Trade Finance and the Accounts Receivable portfolio for channel. Additional positions included senior management and Controller roles covering financial services, worldwide procurement cost forecasting and rebates and alliances across Dell markets in The Americas, EMEA and APJ.
David has more than 20 years of financial experience working in the Channel. Outside of Dell, he served as the Regional Sales Executive for Caterpillar Financial. He also worked at GE Capital as their Vice President, Financial Solutions Management and at The Associates (now a part of Citigroup) with strategic account management, pipeline development, operations and credit responsibilities.
