Synopsis

The times of “One Size Fits All“ in the IT business are over, in particular in public sector sales where tender requirements are increasingly complex and some of the IT hardware components are viewed as commodities. As a result, it is becoming even more difficult for IT solution providers and resellers to differentiate from the competition while providing compelling solutions.

Recognizing this trend, a new EU procurement law is putting an emphasis on competition not only on the complete product, but also on important IT components that enable differentiation such as CPUs and GPUs.
