Vice President, Strategy & Channel, EMEA - Dell EMC

Michael Collins serves as Vice President, Strategy & Channel, in Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA). In this dual leadership role he has responsibility for Dell’s strategic framework, designing and executing the go-to-market strategy, as well as leading Dell’s Channel business in the region, responsible for delivering growth and ensuring the highest quality value proposition to Dell’s partners.

Michael joined Dell in 2002, firstly taking responsible for Dell’s business in the Middle East and then for Dell’s business across all of the EMEA Emerging markets including the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe and Russia.  Under Michael’s leadership, Dell developed a very strong go-to-market model across this diverse and complex set of countries significantly improving Dell’s presence and profile and delivering stand-out business results and market share gains.  The region quickly became a multi-billion dollar business, testimony the quality of the team, their commitment to the business and to Michael’s strong leadership.  

Michael brought significant technology industry experience to Dell having previously worked for IBM for seven years, including senior positions in South Africa and Paris. Prior to IBM, Michael held the position of Regional Director for a large PC distribution company in South Africa.

In addition to leading Dell’s Strategy and Channel across EMEA, Michael is a member of Dell’s Global Giving Council. In this position Michael support and drives our Giving Strategy in EMEA, focusing specifically on employee engagement and participation, our giving activities in support of Youth Learning enabled by Dell technology, and overseeing the funding budget for  not-for-profit organisations.
